We, Surul Software Labs GmbH (“we”, “our”, “us”, “Surul”), the creators and licensors of the TimeFerret software application (“TimeFerret”), consider the safety and confidentiality of your data as extremely important. We have created this Privacy Policy document so that you can easily read and understand what data we collect from you and how we use it. We are based out of Stuttgart, Germany and we handle data according to the legal provisions of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you do not agree with this privacy Policy in whole or in part, then you should not use the TimeFerret website or app. If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, please email us about it.

We collect the following data everytime you visit the TimeFerret website: the date and time of your visit, which browser you use and the operating system you use to access the site, the URL of the site that you previously visited (in case you were referred to our website through a link on a different website) and the quantity of the transmitted data. We collect this data for security purposes.

We collect your personal data such as email, name and other voluntary information submitted by you when you contact us with a question that you may have about our product/services. We use this information in order to follow-up with you and to help solve your problem or answer your question.

Data that we collect in the app

The TimeFerret App has been removed from the App Store. All data collection has been disabled. If you are currently running an old version of the app, the app may attempt to send usage information. However, this usage information is immediately discarded and not stored on the servers. The TimeFerret App is no longer supported and we recommend that you delete it from your phone.

Analytics

We do not use any third party website analytics solutions. This website is hosted by Google Inc. and your IP address may be logged by Google Inc. for security purposes only.

Firebase Analytics

Older versions of the app use Firebase Analytics, a third party service that allows us to record events that occur within the app. These events may include the start and end of user sessions, navigating to different screens within the app and clicks of buttons in the app. These will not include any of your private calendar or contacts data. We use this data to identify and improve popular features within the app.

We do not collect demographic data such as Age, Gender and Interests. We collect some user-related data such as: the App Store from which the app was downloaded and installed, the version and bundle of the installed app, the country of residence of the user, brand name and category of the mobile device, the hour of the day when the user first opened the app, the language setting of the user’s device, the operating system of the device and the last time that the app was opened on the device.

In cases where the app crashes, we will record a report of this crash the next time the app is used. This will not include any of your private calendar or contacts data, but will include information about what part of the app software was faulty. App crash reports will not include personally identifiable information. This means that when the app crashes on your phone, we will not know that it was your phone, but only that the app crashed on somebody’s phone.

All of the above mentioned data is no longer stored on the Firebase servers as we have removed the App from the App Store.
